On Thursday 2nd January 2020 the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership supported Driffield's annual Scrambling event. This is an ancient custom where on the first trading day of the year children go down the street saying a chant and shops and businesses throw out sweets and coins for them. Rachel and Sam from the YCCRP started them off at Driffield station by throwing out goodies for the children from the rail partnership.
