Beavers rail safety trip to Brough

St Martin's Scouts Group (Hull) Beavers enjoyed a rail safety educational trip from Hull to Brough and back on the evening of Thursday 2nd July.

Thanks to support from Northern and TransPennine Express Trains the Beavers learned how to use trains and stations safely, and the experience will help them earn their 'Platforms for Change' badge.

The safety talks were conducted by Ben, a driver with TransPennine Express and Scout Leader from Driffield. Ben is wonderful with the children and gets the important messages across in a fun and engaging way.

On the return journey, YCCRP's Rail Officer Rachel gave out Arlo Rail Safety books to all to take away and read to continue their rail safety education
