From the moment you arrive at Bridlington’s beautiful flower decked station you will fall in love with this friendly seaside resort.
With its miles of sandy beaches, glorious promenades complete with their own land trains, the historic Old Town and priory and fascinating working harbour it has something to please everyone.

Take a stroll along the shore and stop off to sample some of the amazing fish and chips on offer or an ice cream from one of the many cafes or ice cream parlours.
There is too much to do in just one day so consider staying in one of the many guest houses or hotels around the town so you can get the full experience of this gem of a seaside resort.

Bridlington’s main attraction is of course its beautiful beach. In fact it has two, North and South, each with their own promenade and linked by the harbour. With miles of beautiful sands and excellent facilities nearby it really is the perfect place for a beach day.
The Yorkshire Belle is Bridlington’s famous pleasure cruise boat. It offers sightseeing trips of various lengths along the coast.
Sewerby Hall and gardens offer a fantastic day out for all the family. This Grade I listed Georgian country house is set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a magnificent clifftop setting at nearby Sewerby. It also has a small zoo and childrens adventure playground. The attraction is 2 miles from Bridlington and a land train runs along the promenade and cliffs linking it with the town.
Bondville model village in nearby Sewerby is well worth a visit. It has over 200 beautifully crafted buildings including a windmill and a castle.
Bridlington’s Old Town is the original settlement and is situated a little inland around the medieval Priory. Take a walk down the High Street and visit the shops, art galleries and restaurants while admiring the fascinating architecture. Take a look around the Priory and visit the Bayle museum to discover more about the town’s history.

Station Adoption
The YCCRP are the official station adopters for Bridlington station but most of the work here is done by Andy who works in the ticket office, supported by our volunteers.

Bridlington station is well known for its outstanding floral displays and people travel from afar especially to see them each year.​
