Beavers rail safety trip

On Monday evening we took a group of Beavers from 2nd Driffield Scout Group on a rail safety trip to Bridlington. The children learned how to use a train safely and enjoyed doing our activity sheet on the journey.

At Bridlington station we talked to them about our barrow boy statue and tiled map, then BTP officer Dan chatted to them about the rail safety. This experience will help them to earn their platform for change badges and they are also getting special Railway 200 badges made.
