Beavers Rail Safety Trip

On Monday 18th May we took a group of Beavers from Hutton Cranswick Scout Group on a rail safety trip to Bridlington to teach them how to use stations and trains safely.

At Bridlington station we talked to them about our barrow boy statue and tiled map, then YCCRP member Ben, who is also a Scout leader and a train driver for TPE, gave them an engaging and interesting rail safety talk.

This experience will help them to earn their platform for change badges and as such they presented to Hutton Cranswick station adopters a platform for change sign which will be installed at the station.
