Restoration of heritage bench

During the Summer of 2019, the YCCRP commissioned local joiner Simon Morley to restore the North Eastern Railway bench on platform 1 of Driffield station to its original heritage condition. We chose to have it painted black as this is how many remember it in the says of British Railways.
