​The Yorkshire Coast line enjoys good onward connections at both ends of the line.

 

Hourly direct trains from Scarborough to Meadowhall, Doncaster and Sheffield via Hull with Northern.

 

Hourly direct trains to York from Bridlington via Hull Direct trains to Leeds, Halifax, York, Manchester, Liverpool and London from Hull with Northern, Transpennine Express, Hull Trains and LNER.

 

Direct trains to York and Manchester from Scarborough and Seamer with Transpennine Express.

Useful bus connections From Scarborough station:

 

Arriva X93 to Whitby and Middlesborough via Scarborough hospital.

Arriva X94 to Whitby via Peasholm Park.

East Yorkshire buses 128 to Helmsley, Pickering and Kirbymoorside.

East Yorkshire buses 12 and 13 run between Scarborough Filey and Bridlington via some holiday camps. 13 is seasonal and goes via Aquarium top near South Bay.

Open top buses operate in Summer between North and South bays.

East Yorkshire buses 41 to Driffield via Burton Agnes Hall.

East Yorkshire buses 130 to Hornsea via Skipsea and the holiday camps.

East Yorkshire buses 136 to Driffield via Skipsea and the coast.

Moorsbus runs every Sunday and Bank Holiday, from Sunday 4 May to Sunday 28 September connecting Hull, Cottingham, Beverley and Driffield with Malton, Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors.
